This fine elder troll, name’s probably Yorb or Blunk, has been guarding that bridge since before spoons were invented. His walking stick? Carved from lightning wood. His beads? Made of beetle teeth and serious wisdom. He once arm-wrestled a glacier—and won, but then apologized and shared tea with it for three days.

Meet Elder Glimpkin, the semi-retired acorn accountant of the Enchanted Thicket and the proud winner of this year’s Golden Twig for Most Soulful Eyeballs. That staff? It’s also a soup ladle. That rabbit? Named Chairleg. Every Tuesday, they debate cloud shapes until someone cries (usually the mushroom spectators).
