James Sale has been and continues to reveal his anthropomorphic representations of his 9 Motivators from Motivational Mapping. He's been doing this is a series of gorgeous woodcuts.

Back at the beginning of the series, I started playing with the idea of Christmas or Winter representations, and feel duty bound to finish the series!
So...

Today's reveal of The Defender Motivator - the 🐢 Tortoise.
The Defender seeks security, predictability, stability. And if it were to be a Winter Tortoise, it would have the natural sense to hibernate! I think this is an excellent strategy for The Defender.
