The young captain stands on the plan extended from the bow of the airship along side the dwarven prisoner. The dwarf is defiant, yet nervous still refusing to give the air pirates the information they want. The captain had begged the men not to do this rash action. In turn for his compassion the crew had decided to remove him as captain and join his short friend in walking the plank. A silent crew member silently slips a metal hook tied to a thick sturdy rope to the captains belt. It is all a ruse to make the dwarf talk. They walk the plank, the captain grabs hold of him saying he bribed the crew member and others to save them. But he will let him drop unless he gives the captain the information he wants. The captain smiles garishly as he steps next to the dwarf on the plank ready for what comes next.
