Beautiful silk head scarf and goes nicely with her comlexion. The glasses are not quite as dainty as dainty but the bevelled rimtothe glasswith the light amber tint make these one of the most stylish pairs of glasses I have ever seen. Great picture overall

I love it. The trials and tribulations of trying to find frames that express your personality and then the reality of trying to get the necessary thick lenses in to those frames. A pain I understand only too well. Lovely elegant composition and wonderful writing

She examined them.  The frame was pretty.  It was another lucky thrift shop find I'd added to my collection; a simple and rather dainty cat-eye frame in pale, silvery blue aluminium.  The lenses weren't either pretty or simple but Beryl had at least done her best to ensure that they were as dainty as possible.

The silence lasted through Betty's Bay.
