Robert Burns
Farewell, ye dungeons dark and strong, The wretch's destinie! M'Pherson's time will not be long On yonder gallows-tree.
O, what is death but parting breath? On many a bloody plain I've dared his face, and in this place I scorn him yet again!
Sae rantingly, sae wantonly, Sae dauntingly gaed he; He play'd a spring, and danc'd it round, Below the gallows-tree.
Untie these bands from off my hands, And bring me to my sword; And there's no a man in all Scotland But I'll brave him at a word.
I've liv'd a life of sturt and strife; I die by treacherie: It burns my heart I must depart, And not avenged be.
Now farewell light, thou sunshine bright, And all beneath the sky! May coward shame distain his name, The wretch that dares not die

I couldnβt help but read that poem in a Scottish accent. Again the history and the fact it is covered by a Russian enthusiast and scholar are more fascinating colour to a great creation combination, thank you for the lesson.
Amazing! Iβve heard of himβ¦ so beautiful to see your depiction of him and read his story. π₯Ήππ
Very beautiful song illustration. This adventurous man has a great sense of freedom, independence, living as he wants. It is true - his "as you want" - is associated with robbing, harming others, but thinking about the biography of this man, it is hardly surprising that this was his life. Anyway, sometimes strange roads lead to fame. ππ As always, there's a lot to learn from you, Puaro! ππ
James McPherson, a robber with a unique destiny. The bastard of a Scottish laird and a gypsy. His father recognized him and gave him an education, but died a few years later while trying to return cattle stolen by bandits.
After the death of his father, McPherson was taken up by his mother's gypsy community. Growing up, he organized a gang and began robbing the caravans of the rich lords of the counties of Banff, Aberdeen and Moray. He was especially hated by Duff of Braco, a Scottish lord loyal to the English crown. A few years later, Dafa soldiers captured James after a fierce fight and he was sentenced to death.

Another informative creation - my sister must know it, because she loves Scotland (culture, literature etc.) and is also a fan of Robert Burns. Awesome creation my friend! β€οΈβπ₯βπβ
