Why thank you for the kind thoughts! My reason for like daisies and lookalikes are because they look happy!

They are/were happy and the different bees and bumblebees lov d them too. I just came in from cleaning up old spent plants and dead-headed those that sprouted later and still growing well. I try to keep them dead-headed so they'll bloom till frost as it provides food to tide the bees over till next year. At this point, I'm thinking more of the bees than myself. People often get flowering plants for their looks with little thought if they provide for bees. Most will just buy 'pretty' plants that garden centres sell, all with the idea of money to be made and nothing else. 😡

My husband is the gardener over here. And he plants stuff for nature. Milkweed for Monarchs, Beebalm for hummingbirds, Tomato plants to feed the hummingbird moth. And of course stuff for bees.
