This really engages my neurons, being partway through the beginning of this saga! And the visual style is like that of an ancient painting that hangs in a castle, yet somehow glows of its own accord. Thrilling.

AW oh my gatos, Jaffers! 🥰Though both of those characters are in the saga, this scene was made up just now, hehe. But I'm keen on adding it into any future book! 🤭

Deviant, with scales of ancient fires and wings that could embrace the shadows, turned an eye towards Etyne, a glint of recognition sparking within the abyss of its gaze. This creature, a friend of Commander Sethi, bore the scars of battles past and the wisdom of the cosmos in its stance.

Etyne stepped forward, his hand outstretched, not in command but in camaraderie. “Sethi was worried sick about you, old friend,” he said, his tone laced with a warmth that spoke of the intimacy shared among those who had faced the dark together.

Deviant’s response was a rumble, resonant and deep, a sound that shook the roots of the dying world and danced with the promise of return. They stood there, man and myth, against the backdrop of a dying star, their reunion a whimsical interlude to the symphony of the Dominion’s saga.
