While Buck could still only lie in the chair, he saw other android bodies in Liora's lab. She seemed to have been experimenting with robot technology for some time. The technology was beyond anything Buck had ever seen. The Halo, the humans' most powerful ship, was outdated by comparison. What must Liora have been through here, he thought. So many years in solitude... He felt pity... 

Flashback: Liora ran through the lab with the humanoid body. The humans reacted in panic! They sealed everything off. Tried to prevent Liora from running away. But Liora was also panicking in her own way. Not a good combination, a highly developed AI, self-aware, in a strong humanoid robot body. She broke through doors. Threw guards aside as if they were straw dolls. The humans tried everything. In the end, they shot Liora. But humanity had only one thing in mind. To create a robot for war. Her new body was too strong for the bullets.
