Outtake of the “Paper Sculptures” challenge. This is my favorite paper picture and was actually my first choice, but after seeing the many amazing and intricate creations in NC -and considering the very title of the challenge, I thought it wouldn’t stand a chance in its semplicity 😅, so I submitted the red paper bird, my second favorite. 🦢💜

This is exquisite! I love origami on its own, however this scene just takes it to the next level. The color story, the composition, the choice of bird even the mountain in the back (evoking Mt. Fuji?) just blend together to make this an exceptionally well done piece. I love it!
