It was an unnatural quiet, broken only by the creak of old wooden crates being loaded into Sullivan’s motorcar as they prepared for the hit. Sullivan leaned against the car, the sharp tip of his cigar glowing in the darkness, the smoke rising in thin curls around him. His eyes were focused, cold.

Red Callahan stood next to him, revolver already in hand, checking the barrel with practiced efficiency. Around them, a group of Sullivan’s most loyal men gathered in the shadows, their faces tense, hands itching for violence. The target tonight wasn’t just one of Doyle’s fronts—it was his heart. The main warehouse where Doyle ran operations, hidden deep in the Five Points, guarded like a fortress. But no fortress could withstand the force of pure revenge.
