I stepped off my yacht, feeling a surge of exhilaration. I had just sailed around Spain and France, and now I was in Italy, ready to explore its wonders. I glanced at my phone, where I had saved the contact of my guide, Benita. I had spoken to her briefly on the phone, and she had sounded like a typical travel agent: knowledgeable, but bored. She had probably seen hundreds of tourists like me, and had no enthusiasm for showing me around. I wondered what she looked like. Maybe she wore glasses and a dull suit, and had a tired expression on her face.

"Benita?" I asked tentatively, hoping she would say no.
She smiled and said something in Italian that I didn't understand. It sounded like music to my ears.
"Sorry, my Italian is poor. English?" I asked.
"Of course," she said, with the sexiest Italian accent I had ever heard. "I am Benita, your guide. Welcome to Italy."
I followed the directions on my phone to the meeting point, and looked around for Benita. The only person waiting there was a woman who looked like she had just stepped out of a fashion magazine. She was stunningly beautiful, with long brown hair that fluttered in the breeze, and eyes that sparkled with mischief. Her olive skin was radiant in the sunlight, and her green suit hugged her curves in all the right places. She leaned against the wall, looking relaxed and confident. I felt a flush of heat on my face, and quickly looked away. There was no way she was my guide.
