Music by Félicien Rops

A depiction of 'Music' in the style of Belgian artist Félicien Rops (1833-1898). He worked in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. He is best known for his dark and satirical works, which often explore themes of sexuality, religion, and death. Rops was born in Namur, Belgium, and studied art in Brussels. He was influenced by the Symbolist movement and the work of artists such as Gustave Courbet and Honoré Daumier. Rops' work was controversial in his lifetime, but it is now considered to be an important contribution to the history of art. He is considered one of the most important Symbolist artists.
