I did not ask for what looks like a third eye, but that actually works for my Homestead setting. Homestead is located in a science-fantasy "multiverse" that I'm developing. 2 of the fantasy inspirations for Homestead are superheroes and fairy lore.
The descendants of living things tend to get "assimilated," which often includes physical mutations. For instance, most mammals have 6 limbs and 3 eyes. Angelus Domina Terrae has 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 wings, plus (in this picture) a 3rd eye.
Most human descendants on Homestead get shrunk to pygmy scale: 2/3 as tall as they'd be on Earth. Otherwise, they look normal.
Angelus Domina Terrae is not pygmy scale. Hence, at 5' 4", she seems 8-feet tall.
She can't fly, and her "wing feathers" act like gills. Her wings assist in gliding, running, and swimming.
