Sister Helena emerged from her quarters and went into the refractory. She stood near the door, adjusting her scapular in the reflection of a piece of stained glass. Her large rosary glistened in the sunlight hanging neatly at her side. Her veil shimmered in the morning light.
Fairbairn emerged from her quarters buttoning the last button on her service uniform jacket. Her service uniform was pristine and immaculate. She paused, gave Sister Helena a polite nod and smoothed out her service cap beneath her arm.
“How do I look, Sister? Will the villagers think I'm one of the local saints?” Fairbairn asked dryly.
Sister Helena smiled. “Perhaps if Saint George had regulation ribbons and a service pistol.” Fairbairn gave a quite snort of amusement and set the cap on her head.

Beautiful work as always Matt. There is a dignified aspect of fun with it.
From down the hall came the sound of a dignified of dignified boots. Colonel Larkin entered the refractory. His service jacket was crisp and pressed and his boots were well polished.
Larkin took in Sister Helena’s composed figure; Her hands folded neatly under her scapular, her veil immaculately pinned.
“You look radiant, Sister. They'll know where we come in peace just by seeing you.”
Sister Helena blushed slightly and bowed her head “Thank you, Colonel I pray that today I may plan to seed... something small. Kindness, with respect, hope.”
Bjornson entered the room. His massive frame squeezed into a custom royal Norwegian Air Force service uniform. He had even shaved his beard and mustache.
“Do I look presentable?” Bjornson asked. Fairbairn tilted her head. “Like a patriotic Yeti,” she replied.
