The Teleri (Tolkien's Elves series)

The Teleri were the third Elf clan to leave Cuiviénen, the place of the Elves awakening. This third clan was the largest of the three houses of the Elves (among Ñoldor and Vanyar,you can find them in my Tolkien collection 🤗).

The Teleri were similar to the Ñoldor: fair-skinned, dark-haired (although the hair of most descendants of the kindreds of Elwe and his brothers was silver), strong, tall (193 cm and above), but more flexible; in stature and build, they were inferior to the Ñoldor.

The Teleri were great and skilled singers, as well as shipbuilders (their ships were comparable to the gems of the Ñoldor); they especially loved the water and the sea🌊. The Teleri preferred silver, and even the Ñoldor (who preferred gold) envied their skill in working with this metal. The Teleri also mined pearls in large quantities.
