The Old Tengu Greets His Young Human Pupils as The Younger Tengu Watch From The Trees Curiously.

The Old Tengu had found the four boys as outcasts from a dying village searching for food in his forest. He took pity on the orphaned boys and trained them in the ways of shadows, mists and water. They became the first ninja to exist in japan. As time passed each of the boy founded their own clans. The two most famous ones being the Iga and Koga ninja clans. The Old Tengu did not approve of their killing of each others clans for gold and so he closed the mystical barrier to the forest he guards to this day forever to humans. He vowed that he would teach Ninjutsu no more! To this day as humans enter his forest all they see are large ravens that watch them, always with an ominous feeling and so the people wrap blessed ropes around the trees and bow in respect to the ravens and their trees. This tradition lives on to this day.
