Interesting viewpoint re: aliens and Gong Show 

They have been observing humanity from when the first farming techniques were developed.  Since then, they have avoided interacting, but when satellite communication began in the 70s, and *especially* the Gong Show, they have been chomping at the bit to get involved in our culture.

Shown here is a scene from *THE NEW GONG SHOW: 2054*.  A Blorf-Alien Citizen-unit performs a song and dance and then tells A joke: "*Grblah-fruhh...ZABUHZZ!*" resulting in crickets.

I had to translate it into English and replace the word succubus with demoness.
