This is an evolution of a creation I made for a random word challenge. I was thinking about the poem Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley. In the poem, the speaker talks about a statue in the desert that has decayed and crumbled over time, except for the face, which is shattered. This was a statue of the great Ozymandias, long gone, along with his power, influence, and his statue. And I conjured up in my mind a Mayan Revival concrete mansion in the jungle, which also once showed the might of the people who lived there. Now, only statues outside the mansion remain.
