Yes indeed! It looks slick, but there's also more enthusiasm for this than I expected. Maybe I ought to do more like this.

This got to 5 likes much more quickly than my mech creations usually do. Is this piece really better, or is the audience for mecha growing? We'll find out.

EDIT: It reached 10 likes a few minutes later. It's both heartening and demoralizing that this got to double digits so quickly and I spent so little time on it, while a lot of other mech pictures that I spent more time on don't even have 5 likes. But this experiment proved to be a success, so I'm going to do more like it.

EDIT 2: I think this piece's like count is explained by it trending, but it keeps getting likes; at 20 likes, it's now my most-liked mech. Its resemblance to the Star Wars AT-TE walker may also have helped. I've tried to recreate the AT-TE before and failed; the AI only seems to recognize AT-ATs and AT-STs. But Yoda would say to do, not try. Yoda also led an army of clone slave soldiers into a pointless war meant to kill off his order. It turns out war does not make you great.
