I actually used to write poetry, then stopped when I discovered I was really bad at it. Some of my creations on here, tagged #original-text, have my crappy poems attached to them. My style is amateurish, but I like using heteronyms, homonyms, other words closely associated in meaning and/or sound, and internal rhyme. My writing definitely leans toward the darker side.
