It was much colder when she started out that morning, but now as the day approached afternoon, it was much warm than she had expected. The creek was peaceful and quiet and a walk along the edge quickly turned into wading to see if ahe could find a spot deep enough for a spontaneous swim. As she made her way along the edge of the creek she found a spot that looked deep and waded in. Waist-deep she decided it wasn't getting any deeper so she sat down dunking herself under before floating in the middle of the creek for a moment. The water was cold so she didn't linger long standing to wade back out and continue along the edge of the creek. She was soaked and delighted with how her clothes felt as she continued on her way. No she wondered how long it would it take to dry? Would anyone notice once she returned to the rest of her group? She decided it didn't matter, she was enjoying the moment and wouldn't change a thing!
