Juggernaut XI
While not technically a type of tree, this plant gets the second part of its name due to its vines always propping its mass high in the air. The first part of its name is due, not only to its red colors, but also from it's violently carnivorous diet. While these monstrous plants are rather rare, the locations of those that have been found are relatively well documented for good reason... so that people can stay as far away as possible. Much of what they are made of and how they function is still unknown as any who have tried to study or fell these horrors have met their untimely deaths before it. One such death was witnessed by a survivor who was quick to flee. The ordeal was described as follows: "The vines moved so fast, he could hardly react. It lashed his arm with two vines and before he could even think to free himself, the razor like teeth that grow on the vines had torn through the metal plating like parchment. Before his arm was sliced apart... I ran. I'm sorry, I ran!"
A haunting image of a massive, ancient plant with razor-sharp teeth and tendrils, set against the eerie backdrop of a crumbling jungle ruin with bio-luminescent glow and dark, muted colors.
