Palaces of Chaos

“Huge castles of living stone and fluid metal rise above the abyss of primordial Chaos. Their towers are constantly changing shape: one turns into crystal, another spreads like a liquid, a third bursts into flames and disappears. The walls are covered with pulsating symbols that appear and disappear. The sky above the palaces warps, creating swirls of dark energy, and fragments of worlds hang in the air like a broken mirror of reality. In the courtyard, you can see creatures whose bodies change before your eyes: one step, they are humanoid, the next, huge multi-eyed creatures. The space around the palaces is unstable: staircases lead to the void, doors open into infinity.”
