The first king of Israel, anointed by the last judge. I sometimes wonder: even after God removed the anointing from Saul, David still called him "the Lord's anointed". Yet nowhere in Scripture does God correct David. A fun rabbit trail to follow. Amazing creation and thank you for all your work 😇😊🙏
