Not a second could have passed since she had been drawn in by that warm, comforting glow. Yet it felt like an eternity when she was falling through the void. I must have been teleported to... somewhere? she thought. Before she could gather herself and check her surroundings, a sinister male voice boomed through the corridor, the volume amplified tenfold by the low walls and ceiling. A ventilation shaft maybe? she caught herself thinking, trying not to focus on the voice. Something she had hidden deep inside her memories warned her to turn around, forget about the voice. She knew it. She knew him. "I keep a photograph to remind me how wonderful I was."
