In honor of the release of one of my favorite rogue like games, I wanted to depict a few of the things that makes this game so special. If you haven’t heard of this game before, I highly recommend you check it out on steam. There’s a steep learning curve but the payoff is well worth it, the game is unlike anything else.

Today we’re starting with the slumbering, one of the first high level encounters for players. I’ve always imagined the slumberlings as a cross between a bear and badger and their aggressiveness and tankiness certainly fits the bill.
