Artistic Codex

The long standing rivalry our adventuring company endures with a certain mad intellect calling itself D. Code all began when we happened across a study of his in a ruined tower. The study contained puzzle and manner of trapped devices concealing a safe. It now contains a broken safe with a hole in the door after our Dwarven Barbarian 'solved' the mysteries of the locking mechanism. We left a note behind apologizing for the damage and the theft of the items within for we were naive in those days.

Had we of known that we would continue to stumble into his works of artifice on a frequency that suggests he maddeningly dogs us at every turn; I might have burned the note in an effort to conceal our presence. But here we are, trapped in yet another room forced to solve this colorful puzzle before we can escape.

"You know, what if this isn't a puzzle this time around? What is D. Code simply put a painted sculpture in this room and there is no puzzle?" The Gnome Bard inquired.
