Haunted Holidays - The House of Forgotten Sweets

They said no one ever returned from Candy & Wonders.

Long before the lanterns died and the street fell silent, it had been the heart of Halloween: a place of glimmering jars and sugary dreams, where even nightmares brought their coins. But then the door closed one year and never opened again. The windows cracked. The sign rotted. People learned to walk on the other side of the road. And eventually, they stopped saying its name.

But the candy never stopped.

Not the normal kind ... the other kind. The pieces that appeared where no basket reached, that pulsed with a strange glow and whispered when the wind passed through. Candies that didn’t belong to anyone… so someone had to collect them.

The stitched wanderer paused at the broken doorstep, jack-o’-lantern bucket in hand. The trail led inside now. That only meant one thing.

This wasn’t a random scattering anymore. Someone… or something was calling them in.

And the Collector answered the call.
