The Crescent Axes - Iron Sultanate

Among the chronicles of the Iron Sultanate are told the deeds of a fearsome brotherhood: The Crescent Axes. Their weapons were not simple blades of iron, but mighty axes forged in the image of the crescent moon, edges curved like silver light carved into steel. With each swing, they carried the weight of judgment, and their strikes were said to cleave not only flesh and armor, but the very spirit of rebellion. The Crescent Axes did not march in silence. When they advanced, the battlefield echoed with the roar of steel splitting shields, of moon-shaped edges biting through stone and bone alike. Their presence was enough to unmake courage; even the bravest foes faltered when the crescent gleam rose above the ranks. To the Sultan’s armies, they were the storm’s edge, an unstoppable wave of force. To their enemies, they were the scythe of the moon, harvesters of doom.
