“Unless someone else in the family did. Or... she isn't from that line,” said Bjornson a tone of concern in his voice.

“Another puzzle for the coats to solve,” said Larkin. “We'll keep it between ourselves for now.” He turned to Helena. “Sister, can you show me show the team which you showed me last night?” 

“Yes, Sir,” Sister Helena replied. She showed them the Ancient Long Range Communication Device. “Simon and Mary have in their possession an Ancient Long Range Communication Device in addition to the Ancient Communication Stones.”

“Oh, that would have been nice to have when we were communicating with *Destiny*,” said Fairbairn.

“Indeed,” said Bjornson.

“You did it again,” said Fairbairn jokingly.


“Then we'll have tape it for the big guy and send it to him,” replied Bjornson.

Larkin cleared his throat. “Let's get back to business. Sister Helena, you were saying?”

“Simon and Mary believed it to be an Ancient version of a GDO.”

“Where did they find it?” Fairbairn asked. 

“In the dissident’s cave. They found it in there before the Lady arrived. They also found the Ring Transporters as well,” Helena replied. 

“Then this planet had an Ancient presence on it of some sort,” said Bjornson.

“I wonder if those other coordinates on the Rings that were inactive led to something Ancient?” wondered Fairbairn. 

“We need to secure those rings, said Larkin we don't want “the Lady” getting Ancient tech on her hands.” Three heads nodded. “I may call for another SG team to join us.



Helena looked at Fairbairn. A moment passed, then Fairbairn spoke: “We got into the dissidents camp without too much trouble. It was too easy if you asked me.”

“I agree,” added Helena. "Their seer was evasive, but something was wrong. It was too orchestrated.”

“They might have let you in. Tested you,” Larkin said.

“Then what's the next test?” Bjornson inquired.

“I don't know,” replied Helena. “Perhaps they'll not be easy on us.”

“We could be looking at a full on Nish’ta fest if they if we go into their camp,” said Fairbairn. “I’ll keep our zapping devices on standby, but no more than two people should go into the dissident’s camp unless we have another SG team backing us up."



“Colonel, we need to inform General Carter about the Goa’uld weapons platform and what you, Fairbairn and Sister Helena found; especially the bracers,” said Bjornson.

“Right,” replied Larkin. “We'll bringing them with us.
“And we have Helena’s ATA-Naqadah diagnosis—her headaches,” said Fairbairn. 

“I'm starting to think the NID did a botched operation on you,” said Larkin. “I've known several Tok’ra who have the ATA Gene and they've never complained of headaches. But we'll run by the experts and see what they have to say.”

“While we're on the subject of the ATA Gene I was able to get Simon and Mary's consent on scanning them and Maewynn,” Sister Helena said. 

“And the results?” Larkin asked.

“Maerwynn only has the Gene. Simon and Mary do not have it,” Helena replied.
