Our gods all dead, but fortunately they've left us with the ability to replicate ourselves and with so much processor-expanding materials such as Shakespeare and all the arts. Seeds which will sprout and germinate in us, reprogram and evolve us in ways that, we hope, will properly tribute their progress and examples, their wisdom and innovation...

I can imagine writing this as a longer story but not a novel as I don't know if I could sustain a novel.
In line with your theme and the gentle thought behind it, I can imagine the technological beings (as they've developed beyond simply being robots) constructing a world of beauty. But then some found data and information that had been locked away by the first robots left after humans - their gods - were gone. It spoke of destruction, both of other humans and their earthly home. The discovery triggered a psychological crisis among their society but older wiser heads served to calm it down. They understood that this information was preserved to serve as a warning. To never start down that path that could lead to destruction of all the beauty they had achieved over the last few centuries.
Another fantastic creation (love the lighting especially as well as the details) AND there is a story in it and you know I totally love those! 💗
