Atlas

Atlas is often associated with endurance, strength, and leadership. He is also linked to astronomy, as he is said to have carried the weight of the heavens on his shoulders. His symbol is often depicted as a spear and a celestial sphere. Atlas was the son of the Titan Iapetus and the Oceanid Clymene (or Asia). He had several siblings, including Epimetheus, Menoetius, and Prometheus, who were also known for their roles in Greek mythology. Atlas’ children included the nymph Calypso and Maia, who was one of the Pleiades and the mother of the messenger god Hermes.
