82/ The one who schemes

Horus was the mind, the great schemer. In the beginning, he had been fighting Set's schemes for so long that he had absorbed the ways of his mind. He knew what divine Isis' brother would plot, so he began plotting himself. The pharaohs of the Great Houses chose him because he knew the way of Set, the way of the desert. If there was a plan behind the droughts, he would uncover it. If there was a way to revert it, he would devise it.

Another long silence ensued, as if he continued his tale in his mind without speaking.

He could not devise a plan to revert the droughts. But he was the one who devised the plan to recover what was stolen from us all these years ago.
