Carandol was the name of Adrahil's father. A man named for his dark red hair. An unusual colour to find in a dunadan, so pure of blood as he. wish I could say Carandol was a good man, alas he was a cuel man. Cruel to his wife, and three children. There had been a fourth, the first born, a son, but he died as a baby. That was part of what pushed the already unstable ranger who had seen too much over the edge.

He started drinking heavily. Basically quit the whole ranger thing altogether, in favor of staying home at home tormenting his family. He would beet his wife badly, but seldom turned his hand against the children, until they began to get older. It started with Adrahil's older brother, who at 14, when his siblings were only 11,and 10 ran away, abandoning them, and his mother to their father's wrath. ...
