A digital painting of Falkor the luckdragon in flight. His serpentine body coils through the sky, his scales reflect light, and his eyes twinkle with joy. The image is in a fantastical style.

Nita, here's an update on The Neverending Story - the book we're both so excited about.
Your picture of Falkor - that alone! - has inspired me to pick up the book again, read some of it and watch the film. What a picture can do! While working on the subject, I also came across the website
There I actually learned some new things about Ende and his philosophy. And if you don't know this site yet, I will send you some links from time to time. Or do it in my chatroom. You are welcome to browse there. Room ID: OjdwQ
The "Neverending Story" by Michael Ende made a deep impression on me. I reread the book from time to time - and always get inspired. I have some ideas for more artful images that you, Nita, can create. I can't do that because I'm a beginner in Nightcafe and haven't understood many of the settings yet. Could you invite me to a private chat? I don't want to write down my ideas in public, and prefer to discuss them with you in person.
Nita, I like your two pictures of Falkor - and the two pictures of Cineguy49 - the best of those available on Nightcafe. They correspond to what has emerged in my - and your - imagination.
Nita, I took my comment on your picture from the website of the late author Michael Ende - I hereby admit it. In the original language of the book, the dragon is called Fuchur.

Here is the full text:
« Fuchur is a white dragon of happiness, a creature of the sky, of light and warmth, who understands all the languages of joy. He is one of the rarest creatures in Phantásia. It floats through the air as light as a cloud, and anyone who hears its voice sing like a bronze bell will never forget the sound. Having a Lucky Dragon as a friend means never being alone with fear and never losing hope, even in the most hopeless situations. »
Oh Yes: Falkor - from the book "Die Unendliche Geschichte" by Michael Ende. I recognized the dragon immediately!
