They Make Way For Her

You feel something in your gut.

Something primal instinct tells you what to do.

Without conscious thought, you move your body off to one side.

And then you see her pass you by.

You cannot say who or what she is, only what she makes you feel.

You feel respect. Awe. Devotion. A willingness to do anything for her.

You don't know why you feel this way.

It does not matter.

Nor does it matter to everyone else, it seems.

With each step she takes, people shift to allow her passage through the crowd.

The best analogy you can think of is from the Judeo-Christian Book of Exodus, where the God of those religions parted the Red Sea for Moses.

She is that act of divinity in human form.

Crowds part for her for no other reason than because they must.

There is no need to question how or why.

It simply is.

Wherever she goes, they make way for her.
