Here we have the opposite of found lighting. This is the most obvious way to add light to a dark scene, but it often looks a bit flat since the flash is usually right next to the camera. I actually found that it was difficult to get the ai to give me a realistically evenly lit subject. I ended up using the model Google Imagen 3.0 Fast, which work much better.

In photography, a flash can also be used to capture an unblurred image of a subject in motion. This is because the camera only sees the fraction of a second when the flash goes off, rather than seeing the whole motion. This is often what Strobe Lights are used for, Strobes being over-achieving flashes. 😃
