The resemblance is quite like him. Nicely created. Following
I, prisoner number 786, look through the bars of my prison and my heart sees my beloved Zaara. In my mother's sari. To fulfil my dreams, she forgot her own. To serve my family, she was willing to forsake her own. My only wish now is to give her all the happiness in the world. I want nothing more than to be there for her alone.
You say my home is not hers, but why is she living in mine? You say we don't belong together, but why do we feel like one?
I, prisoner number 786, look through the bars of my prison. And I see an angel who has come down from heaven. Her name is Saamiya and she calls me Veer Pratap Singh. I was a stranger to Saamiya, but she treated me as one of her own. And her sincere words gave me new hope. Her strength and great courage gave me back my desire to live.
You say she's not mine. But why does she fight so fearlessly for me? You say I'm a stranger to her. But why do I feel so close to her?
Veer Pratap Singh, Squadron officer of the Indian Air Force (Lifesaving), in his final speech to the court:
I, prisoner number 786, look through the bars of my prison and see the days, months and years turn into decades. The earth here smells like my father's land. The scorching sun reminds me of my mother's cooling buttermilk. The rainy season gently rocks my soul in the garden, and winter fills my heart with the warmth of Lodi's fires.
You say this is not my home - so why do I feel it is? You say I am a stranger to you, so why do I feel so close?
