In my opinion, if you are aiming for a modest picture, maybe try making the clothes not hug the person's curves too much, ie. give a bit of "breathing room". That way, it gives off more of an elegant vibe :) try later making someone with a maxi skirt, or a shirt with puffy sleeves :)
