Maklarn Meteor (3630-3636)

The Great War halted production of the Meteor until events were settled on the continent of Woan in 3633. The year-long head-start was exactly what Maklarn needed to achieve parity in the Race through the System, the next craze of the early space era. By 3634, 28 Meteors were already touring the system, bare months before competitors could offer the same.

Repeated use of the Dama IV drive caused excessive wear to the frame, however, making the initial success of the Meteor short-lived. The line was recalled in 3636 after a catastrophic failure in which the vessel and all aboard were lost.
