The Night Steward appears in rooms with mirrors, where his shadow takes the form of disembodied hands that crawl along walls and ceilings.
He creates decoy reflections of himself in any mirror within the room, making it appear as though he is everywhere at once, though only one version is real. Looking at the wrong reflection makes the true Night Steward emerge from the darkness, lunging closer.
