thank you brigitte! it's been a long time since i tried a modifier that did something new. i was gifted some kind of psychedelic 1960's camera lens and it said "anamorphic adapter" on it so i tried "anamorphic lens."  instantly gave me the exact effect that so many prompts failed at so... off to the races!  i got a new toy to play with.
