Well...initially I found myself in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales tavern with all those diverse characters, both good and bad, gathering to pilgrimage to Thomas Becket's tomb in Canterbury! They all told tales and influenced the atmosphere! In your tale, the dark side appears in the tavern. Words spoken and actions performed become so chilling that they effectively obliterate those who are listening. Is the moral of this story appears to be related to WHOM you listen and the choices that you make??? Your image and narrative are very thought provoking! I do feel that the interpretation of the narrative is very much in the mind of the reader! GREAT WORK!!! 😍😍
