Maxine Kemp gripped the flagpole tighter as the undead shuffled closer. The stars and stripes whipped around her face, a defiant banner against the encroaching darkness. A surge of blue energy pulsed from the ground, momentarily halting their advance. She didn't know why they were drawn to her, or what this strange convergence of holiday symbols meant. But she would stand her ground, a solitary figure between the living and… whatever these things once were. The fireworks above seemed to echo her resolve—a brief, brilliant defiance against an endless night.

ComfyUI used to gen the source, then ComfyUI again to fix anything using Flux Krea Nunchaku for any inpaints, then SDXL w/ ControlNet direct 4k upscale(meaning no tiling), and finally GIMP to do any pre or post-fixes, as well as final color correction and enhancing, and signaturing. and newly added is using Gemma-3-12B in LM Studio to generate short stories about the images to give a touch of curiosity to them.
