Learn to meditate and practice regularly.
Learn basic techniques and philosophy of the martial art aikido. Aikido has the philosophy of ai nuke, or mutual preservation. Practice of other martial arts is acceptable if no aikido school is available.
Learn about the psychology behind the development of empathy, compassion and ethical reasoning.
Learn the 3 major principles of ethical reasoning: Beneficence, Justice, & Respect for Autonomy & how to reason through ethical dilemmas utilising them in conjunction with the cognitive skills of empathy & compassion.
Reject bigotry & mindless hatred of others because of aspects of their identity. The exception is where a person holds bigotry, hate & other antisocial behaviour as major aspects of their identity. eg white supremacists.
