The Order of the Holy Spirit (French: Ordre du Saint-Esprit; sometimes translated into English as the Order of the Holy Ghost), is a French order of chivalry founded by Henry III of France in 1578. Today, it is a dynastic order under the House of France.

While a family coat of arms probably would be more recognizable and do better for the challenge, I like that there was an actual Order of the Holy Spirit with symbolism that is more spiritual than lions, dragons, eagles, and other animals.
While the emblem does not match the actual badge, I like that this cross is more pronounced than the usual Maltese cross and that the not-quite fleur-de-lys extend the cross to be more "cross-like."
And my login name "GraySpirit" is a slightly veiled version of "Gary Kami" which could mean Soldier/Spear-Carrier Spirit, hence the crossed spears behind the Maltese cross of the Order of the Spirit.
