"Good-day, Little Red Riding Hood," said the Wolf.
"Thank you kindly, wolf."
"Whither away so early, Little Red Riding Hood?"
"To my grandmother's."
"Where does your grandmother live, Little Red Riding Hood?"
Little Red Riding Hood raised her eyes, and when she saw the sunbeams dancing here and there through the trees, and pretty flowers growing everywhere, she thought, suppose I take grandmother a fresh nosegay. That would please her too. It is so early in the day that I shall still get there in good time. And so she ran from the path into the wood to look for flowers. And whenever she had picked one, she fancied that she saw a still prettier one farther on, and ran after it, and so got deeper and deeper into the wood.
Meanwhile the wolf ran straight to the grandmother's house and knocked at the door.

Love it! Very strong. I'm obsessed with the colors and light. Nicely done!!
Grandma, in the middle of making lunch in anticipation of Red's visit, heard scratching at her backdoor. Still holding her kitchen knife she opened the door to see the hungry Wolf panting on her back step.
"Well, hello," said the grandmother. "You look like a hungry boi. You'd better come in." And she turned back to the counter where she had been slicing roast beef. The Wolf tilted his head in confusion. The sight of a sharp knife had alarmed him, and now he could see how easily it cut through the slab of delicious smelling meat and it gave him pause. Still holding the weapon in one hand, the old woman—whom he could see was quite spry—turned back to him, reaching out with a generous chunk of beef in the other. It was still warm from the oven.
"Who's a good boy," said the grandmother, which was surely a rhetorical question, as she tossing the treat towards his open jaws. He gulped it down in one bite. It was delicious. "Who's a good boy? You are! You're a good boy, aren't you?"
