Character Spotlight: Cameron J. Turner

The main protagonist of Tears.

Cameron formerly was a very successful man. Happily married, he has a wonderful daughter, a good relationship with his father, and a good paying job.

That was before an event that occurred before the events of the story.

During tears he writes about his experiences, and it slowly shows his life falling apart one event after another.

To cope with this he begins to use hard drugs and alcohol. Due to substance abuse this causes his life to collapse even faster.

His family collapses and his boss eventually puts him on sabbatical.

The most troubling of all is the violent visions and twisted sights he keeps being subjected to.

His father eventually moves in with him to make sure he has some sort of a support system. And as each day goes on those events occur more and more often, resulting in Cameron’s rapidly declining mental health.

He was once kind and hardworking, and now has become a harsh and paranoid person, fueled by his addiction.
