Character Spotlight: Martine Middleton

The overall main antagonist of the series. Title: The Architect/The Playwright

Martine was born in England to a family that had a large amount of political influence, being close to the monarchy. He was given a moderate role in the royal navy however his true passion was writing plays. He travelled the world under his position which is how he came in contact with a book hidden in a cave surrounded by roses.

He eventually moved to New York and later helped found Evergreen. He married a woman named Eleanor and had two kids Alistair and Augustine (he was particularly proud of Augustine). His father eventually passes away and he gained the entire estate. This outraged his family who thought he abandoned them. They staged a robbery and accidentally caused the death of his daughter. This caused him to grow increasingly more depressed and allowed the book that he had had for 30 years to corrupt his mind. Creating the architect.

He is a dark reflection of David.
