... and it didnt take long until nature won back what humankind took from her. The foliage seemed to be sentient and reacting to the passing Survivors with an eerie bioluminescent glow, its leaves shivering to make noises that sounded like whispers, passing on from one plant to the next.
It felt as if they were warning each other: Watch out, humans are coming, make light to warn the others!
Little shadows were scattering away, driven further by the eerie light. And the Survivors knew, they were not welcome, but they had no other choice than to set up camp within those sturdy walls of the former school.
